Marketing Strategist (Minneapolis)

Worrell is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Strategist to join our growing team in Minneapolis.

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for coordinating and executing on Worrell’s broader marketing strategy. In this role, you will partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure proper brand positioning within the healthcare industry, as well as use competitive information and research to inform content generation. A deep understanding of Worrell, our voice, and brand will be required. Additionally, you will be responsible for the ideation, planning and execution of events to help cultivate new opportunities for Worrell. These events could include quarterly parties, regional and global conference opportunities, as well as events to support in-house culture and encourage positive moral.
This role will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1) Positioning & Direction
• Conduct in-depth research on prospective and existing clientele to inform pillar and cluster content; position Worrell for success by identifying new business opportunities or space for expansion
• Collaborate with Worrell content production team to determine ideal mediums for distribution (case studies, news articles, blogs, video, etc.) based on market and audience awareness
• Map the digital marketing landscape for Worrell, and identify areas of opportunity for both paid and organic growth
• Work cross functionally with both sales and marketing to ensure messaging and voice consistency across all platforms and medium
• Support the Director of Sales & Marketing with the development of a strategy & plan for international marketing (UK & China) – partner with content production, social media and other stakeholders as necessary
• Responsible for the planning and execution of the “Worrell Quarterly” – a recap of broader healthcare initiatives by key clients during the past 90 days and opportunities for Worrell to differentiate

2) Events & Culture
• Identify, coordinate and execute against the event/conference marketing strategy in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing
• Conduct a thorough analysis of ROI on conferences attended, present key outputs and information to marketing and sales team for broader distribution
• Responsible for the planning and execution of events at Worrell, including business development opportunities as well as community/culture events
• Coordinate with sales and provide support as needed to ensure success at speaking opportunities, including the coordination of marketing assets, development of print and presentation preparation
• Coordinate with the Director of HR and hiring managers to ensure on-time delivery of Worrell branded items for new talent

Key Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar
• Previous working experience as a Marketing Strategist or similar function for 2+ years
• Creative thinker with data-driven analytical aptitude
• Passion of understanding company values and driving points of differentiation
• Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook)
• An ability to consistently demonstrate our values of insight, hard work, and effectiveness in your personal approach to work
• A proactive, service-focused attitude toward clients and the teams you work with
• An entrepreneurial attitude with ability to formulate original ideas
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
