Content Specialist

Worrell is currently seeking a full-time Content Specialist to join our growing team in Minneapolis.

As Worrell’s Content Specialist you fuel both our offline and online marketing efforts with expertly crafted written content. Every story you tell and article you publish must positively reflect our mission as a company, and our expertise as a healthcare design firm.

You are responsible for collaborating with our internal subject matter experts, sales and marketing staff, and leadership, to author copy that supports all marketing activities. This includes but is not limited to…

• Blog posts
• Email campaigns
• Social media posts
• Case studies
• Press releases
• Whitepapers
• Both digital and print advertising/marketing collateral

You are a member of the marketing team and report directly to the Marketing Communications Strategist. You collaborate with marketing stakeholders to maintain a consistent brand voice that positions Worrell as a creative thought-leader within the healthcare design and strategy ecosystem.

You are a confident communicator and presenter with the ability to work well alongside people at all levels. Strong writing skills with an emphasis on storytelling set you apart from other marketing and journalism professionals.

Responsibilities

• Execute on a quarterly content calendar established in partnership with marketing team-members, and leadership
• Collaborate with project team members to outline and write case studies upon completion of a project
• Rapidly respond to Worrell’s growth, and expanding market opportunities, with press releases, news articles, and social media content
• Help tell Worrell’s brand story by providing writing-focused input on sales presentations and conference speaking engagements
• Quickly learn new industry terminology, and align our written content’s language with what is most up-to-date in the healthcare segments that we serve
• Stay up to date on relevant and emerging industry trends within healthcare design and the segments that we serve to inform ongoing growth of our content strategy

The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-3 years of experience in copywriting, journalism, marketing, or another related field. This ideal candidate also has an interest in healthcare, design, and emerging technologies. Experience in SEO, content marketing, and marketing automation are preferred but not required.
