Research Recruitment Project Manager


Successful recruitment is what drives successful projects at Worrell and is a key differentiator in our research approach. Therefore, we are seeking a passionate Research Recruitment Project Manager to join our Minneapolis team who will responsible for managing the internal recruiting function of Worrell. This includes clinical site and participant recruitment for our design research and human factors field work. Calling upon project management skills and an ambitious mentality, this role is an opportunity to build relationships with best-in-class partners to create differentiated outcomes in healthcare.


  • Recruitment strategy management and project logistics
    • Creating and managing field work schedules
    • Booking fieldwork facilities
    • Renumeration plans
    • Manage and execute participant payments, including setting and managing fair-market-value
  • Usability study participant recruitment
    • Build and maintain relationships with recruiting agencies
    • Coordinate project requests with appropriate recruiting agencies
  • Observational research clinical site recruitment
    • Identify and initiate direct recruitment of hospital systems, clinics, and healthcare facilities for observational research
  • Global recruitment
    • Identify global recruiting partners and facilitate relationship including contract execution
  • Compliance and regulatory management
    • Work with our compliance consultants and project managers to establish and enforce industry best practices across the organization
    • Responsible for keeping all our materials, contracts, and processes up to compliance standards


  • 3+ years in a participant recruitment role
  • Experience managing large-scale research programs for clinical studies, usability studies, or ethnographic research
  • Exceptional oral and written technical communication skills
  • Project or program management experience in large scale or complex participant research, clinical trials, or health outcomes projects
  • Willingness to juggle several responsibilities at once
  • Operates with professionalism and communicates with empathy
  • Self-motivated and highly independent

Preferred Experience

  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Recruiting compliance and regulatory understanding
