IT Administrator

Worrell is seeking an IT Administrator to support our global team, based in our Minneapolis office. In this position you will be responsible for the IT operations of our design firm, including hardware, software, and systems. The ideal candidate is excited to jump in and problem-solve, and can work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • IT Infrastructure
    • Set-up, onboard, offboard, and maintenance of, and troubleshooting for employee laptops including Mac and PC’s, printers, and other end-user tools
    • Audio/visual equipment including virtual meeting stations and phones
    • Connectivity systems such as: VPN, Firewall, Server, Wifi
    • Collaborate with business users to find solutions for requests
    • Identify service issues and drive resolution with business-minded recommendations
  • IT/IS Security Management
    • Responsible for IT/IS procedures according to internal quality guidance
    • Ownership of specific IT related SOP’s
    • Lead any necessary changes to IT infrastructure through implementation
    • Support on Client IT/IS Questionnaire’s 
    • Build and implement IT/IS training for employees
    • Ensure compliance according to company-issued best practices
  • IT Asset Management
    • Workstations 
    • Servers, Firewalls, etc. 
    • Other company owned devices – iPads, cameras, hard drives, etc,
    • Software License Management 
    • Manage renewals and subscriptions
    • Onboarding/Offboarding 
    • Guidance on acceptable software/methods of data transfer 
  •  Global IT Support
    • Ensure all offices aligned on tools, security standards, troubleshooting support, etc. 
  • Other
    • Monitor and manage data storage sites like Sharepoint and server 
    • Worrell website maintenance (WordPress) as needed
    • Connectivity, VPN, firewall, Server, Wifi
    • Security system onsite
    • Managing 3rd party support/contractors/suppliers for testing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years support experience for software and hardware with end users
  • Strong understanding of Office 365, including Sharepoint and Teams
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure systems such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, servers, and storage systems
  • Mac and PC expertise
  • Organization and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
