Human Factors Project Manager

The Project Manager for the Human Factors Engineering group will be supporting the usability studies for Worrell’s client projects. This role, based in Minneapolis MN, will require coordination of usability studies in various countries including the US, China and UK. Calling upon project management skills and an ambitious mentality, this role is an opportunity to build relationships with best-in-class partners to create differentiated outcomes in healthcare.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project logistics management
    • Creating and managing field work schedules with project leads
    • Booking fieldwork facilities
    • Equipment and materials management and preparation
    • Manage and execute participant payments, including managing fair-market-value
    • Create and execute appropriate consent, non-disclosure, and other legal documents
    • Maintain compliance with storage and documentation of above process, including file management
  • Usability study participant recruitment
    • Build and maintain relationships with recruiting agencies
    • Coordinate project requests with appropriate recruiting agencies
  • Project management
    • Update project timeline
    • Update project budgets
    • Communicate Human Factors project status to Worrell admin
  • Note taking support during usability studies (secondary role)
  • Occasional international calls with our London and Shanghai offices (may need to take an one-hour call during evenings)
  • Compliance and regulatory management
    • Work with our compliance consultants and project managers to establish and enforce industry best practices across the organization
    • Responsible for keeping all our materials, contracts, and processes up to compliance standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year in a participant recruitment role, project management role, or research support role
  • Experience managing research programs for clinical studies, usability studies, or ethnographic research
  • Exceptional oral and written technical communication skills
  • Project or program management experience in participant research, clinical trials, or health outcomes projects
  • Willingness to juggle several responsibilities at once
  • Operates with professionalism and communicates with empathy
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and highly independent

 

Preferred Experience

  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Recruiting compliance and regulatory understanding
